Diet Tips: Accountability
By on Mar 3, 2008 in diet tips
If you are accountable for your weight, you are more likely to work toward hitting a goal. Today’s diet tip is to make yourself accountable. Here are some ideas:
- Join a weight loss group such as a yahoo group, Google group or MSN group and set some goals.
- Join fitday.com and post your public journal link on your blog or your weight loss support forum as well as the link to your foods eaten. This will make you think twice about overindulging because you know others can look at what you are doing.
- Blog about your weight loss journey. You can find journaling to be very valuable as a wa of solidifying your journey and blogging about it might help you in many ways including getting encouragement from others. Blogger.com offers free blogs and there are many others as well. You can even monetize that blog!
- Get a ticker from the internet and show your efforts on your e-mail signature and forum signatures. This can be a way of bragging about your success and it can empower you to work harder so you can show everyone how much weight you’ve lost!
The greatest way to reach your goals is to make yourself accountable. You are most accountable to yourself because you need to look and feel good about your body image and your health.
