Two Week Cereal Diet Menu

Interested in a Cereal Diet or SpecialK Diet? If you want to lose five or so pounds quickly to jump start your diet or fit into something special or even to get back on track after overindulgence, you can replace two of your meals with cereal for two weeks. Be sure to drink lots of liquid, take a multivitamin and take time off between cycles.
Moderate exercise is good during a cereal diet but watch your exercise levels as you will only be taking in on average 1100-1200 calories per day and can find yourself faint or without energy. If you need extra food beyond what’s listed opt for an extra bowl of cereal, cereal bar, fresh fruit or vegetables or if you are really desperate have a 100 calorie snack of any other sort. Don’t drink soda pop during the cereal diet! Coffee and tea is fine but minimise your sugar intake. If you get tired of special k, switch with ANY cereal you like. You’ll also notice there is one cheat day in here. It’s to help you get refocused and have a mini break from cereal by only eating it once on a particular day. This day is optional. If you don’t need a ‘cheat’ day, don’t take one.

Hello webmaster Conceptually this article (eek Cereal Diet Menu - http://www.cerealdieter.com) is sound and I agree whole heartedly. I personally think it relates to Vegetable Bowls as well, IMHO.

Are we not allowed to have milk with our cereal, or yogurt?

Hi Shirley,
You can have milk with your cereal. Low fat yogurt would be a good substitution as well. You can make a great snack with low fat yogurt, berries and some cereal bars crushed up together.
